Emily Thompson joined the Nashville Neurocare Therapy team in February 2021 as a TMS Treater. Emily holds dual degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She utilizes her educational foundation and healthcare industry experience to put her passion to work for helping people in various capacities, including vision therapy, neurology research, and behavioral therapy.
Prior to joining the Nashville Neurocare team, Emily served as a Registered Behavior Technician at Peace by Piece ABA Therapy where she provided one-on-one therapy to children with autism or other developmental disabilities. Previously, she executed and supervised six clinical research studies in the Sleep Division of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Department of Neurology, where she served as a Research Coordinator.
Emily is an empathetic ear and cares deeply about improving the quality of life of each of her patients.
In her free time, Emily enjoys yoga, reading, music, and flow arts.
