Catherine “Cadey” Phipps, LMFT
Neurofeedback Specialist & TMS Therapy Specialist
Cadey recently joined the Nashville NeuroCare Therapy team as a Neurofeedback Specialist and TMS Therapy Specialist.
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Gender Studies from Centre College as well as a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University.
Before earning her Masters, Cadey spent time as a behavior technician using ABA therapy with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). During graduate school, Cadey was introduced to neurofeedback technology as part of her internship where the technology was used primarily with clients diagnosed with ASD and ADD/ADHD. Since completing her Master’s degree, Cadey has gained additional neurofeedback training for ADD/ADHD and experience working with a wide range of clientele of all ages, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, and relational distress.
Cadey is certified in Prepare/Enrich and has completed level 1 training in Brainspotting and the Gottman Method. She is also a Rule 31 eligible mediator.
In her free time, you can find Cadey reading and learning new things, cooking, exercising, or spending time with her husband and their cats.
