Dr. Wittenberg joined Nashville Neurocare Therapy in September 2023 as a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She offers medication management, psychotherapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
Dr. Wittenberg’s mental health career started in 2017 when she moved to Nashville, TN after accepting a position in the nurse residency program at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital. From there, she continued to work as an inpatient nurse and started graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. Through her experiences as a nurse and as a graduate student, she developed a deep interest in working with patients experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and depressive symptoms.
Dr. Wittenberg holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Tennessee Health & Science Center, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University.
