Julie Whitaker, LMSW, joined Nashville Neurocare Therapy in January 2022 as a TMS Therapy Technician and Staff Psychotherapist.
Julie brings 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, focused on the clinical therapy setting. Previously, she held key therapist roles with leading in-patient and out-patient organizations, including JourneyPure, Centerstone, Parthenon Pavilion Psychiatric Hospital, and the National Health Care Corporation.
Julie is a Licensed Master Social Worker, and holds a master’s degree in Social Work, concentration in Evidenced-based Interpersonal Practice from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Woman & Gender Studies and Mental Health Services from MTSU, and an associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Nashville State Community College. Additionally, she has a solid track record of professional training and presentations across diverse subject matter, including behavioral health, substance abuse, and health care policy.
